The suitable Solid Edge courses as required (Sequentially) are:

 

1- Solid Edge Fundamentals (5 day course) = (20 hours)

This course focuses on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the use of Solid Edge. It uncovers all of the potential uses of production level solid modeling and introduces techniques for using Synchronous Technology. This course also provides an overview of the Solid Edge User interface, adding features, sketching tools, and various techniques in both the Traditional and Synchronous environment.

 

2- Synchronous Technology Update (5 day course) = (20 hours)

This course focuses on updating the Solid Edge user with the new tools of Synchronous Technology. It provides instruction on utilizing Solid Edge to design production level parametric models of parts and assemblies and gives an overview of the Solid Edge user interface, adding features, sketching tools, and various techniques in the Synchronous environment.

 

3- CAMWorks for Solid Edge (5 day course) = (20 hours)

This course focuses on CAMWorks for Solid Edge which is an embedded CAM program that is fully integrated with Solid Edge. It is the only feature-based CAM product in the market that leverages synchronous technology and provides users with unprecedented benefits.

Lesson 1: Sheet Metal Features

Lesson 2: Sheet Metal Deformation Features

Lesson 3: Additional Sheet Metal Features

 

Solid Edge ST6  or maybe ST7 (latest version) will be used

 

Prerequisites

Potential students should have or completed the following prior to the class:

-Mechanical Design Experience
