Course Objective:
The main objective of this course is to get engineers familiar with the industrial instruments and control systems applied in process industry. The course introduces the engineering experience in the field instruments (theory, operation, configuration and calibration), field bus networks (application, protocol and network architectures), PLC communications, process control (control loop and PID tuning), DCS and SCADA. Also, the course introduces a demonstration program to get the engineers familiar with the communication system and SCADA.
