Target Audience
This course is for engineering and maintenance personnel responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting drive systems that utilize the MM4xx series AC drives.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able to:
- Identify MICROMASTER drives by product family
- Configure Analog and Digital I/O
- Communicate and network through PROFIBUS and STEP7/TIA.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain a MM4xx drive
- Configure DC, dynamic, and compound braking
- Configure automatic and flying restart functions
- Configure the Kinetic buffering function
- Configure the VDC controller
