Course description
This course will focus on the working principle of mechanical seal and its basic components, seal designs and arrangements. On the other hand the course will cover the seal selection, installation and operation as well as seal failure analysis & troubleshooting
Course goal
This course offers a firm understanding of:
- Mechanical seal working principle, seal components, and seal installation
- The basics of mechanical seal maintenance
- Static seals and dynamic seals as used in different plant equipment.

Upon successful completion of this course the participant should be able to:
